The holidays can be a wonderful time of year to celebrate the past year’s success and to make plans with family and friends for an even better year in 2014. For people living with HIV/AIDS, mental Illness, disabilities, addiction, and/or homelessness, however, this season can serve as a stark reminder of the challenges they must overcome daily simply to survive.
Positively Living offers a hand up, not a hand out, to people in our community who are struggling with these and other challenges. If you are making end-of-year charitable contributions, please consider partnering with us by supporting our annual Home for the Holidays Campaign. With your support, we know we can reach our goal of raising $10,000 by January 1.
Every Home for the Holidays contribution helps fund Positively Living programming and services, including counseling, case management and financial support for individuals and families through the Federal HOPWA (Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS) and Ryan White programs, as well as our Supportive Housing Program pairing long-term, affordable housing with comprehensive therapeutic support.
While we are very proud of the work that we are doing, and thankful for the support of our loyal donors and volunteers, we know that together, we can do more. Please consider making Home for the Holidays part of your holiday this year. Thank you, and Happy Holidays.
